Astrelia Analytics is designed not to process personal data: no cookies, no persistent identifiers, no stored IP addresses.
What it does and does not do
- No cookies, no localStorage, no fingerprinting.
- The IP address is used in memory for a few milliseconds and never stored.
- The visitor identifier is recomputed every day with a salt that is destroyed.
- Geolocation at country and region level; city only if the site owner opts in.
- Servers and backups in the European Union; no third-party calls during collection.
- Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control respected by default.
Legal basis
Processing rests on the site owner’s legitimate interest in understanding how their site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). No consent is needed: the Italian Data Protection Authority’s cookie guidelines (10 June 2021) exempt statistical tools that produce aggregate data, minimise data, do not cross-reference sites and do not transmit to third parties. Astrelia Analytics meets every condition with margin, since it never stores the IP and uses no device identifier at all.

Website statistics. This website uses Astrelia Analytics, a statistics service that sets no cookies and uses no tracking technologies. It collects, in aggregate form, the pages visited, the referring source, the type of device and browser, and the country of connection. IP addresses are not stored; no data can identify a visitor and nothing is stored on the visitor’s device. Data is processed within the European Union on the basis of the site owner’s legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), in line with the Italian Data Protection Authority’s guidelines of 10 June 2021.
